Quilled Candle Holder

Quilled Candle Holder

This beautiful candle holder is made of multiple quilled flowers. It can also be used to keep candy's, flowers or Potpourri. It is little fragile to keep some heavy stuff. Color combinations of flowers are just amazing and attractive which would get so much attention.

Quilled Peacock

Paper Quilled Peacock

This beautiful peacock is made of paper quilling shapes. I have used some wooden sticks to make its feathers. You need a lot of patience while making it. Then i paste those sticks to a thick thermocol sheet making a half circle. Then i quilled its body. The idea of making a peacock came to my mind when i saw some quilled fans.

Try the same in full white color, it looks amazing. I once made in white but unfortunately i don't have any image. I hope you like it.

These roses are very simple to make and they are very attractive and realistic. There are many materials you can use to make them but procedure is same for all. I have mentioned some methods that i have tried and some that i haven't.

Below is the tutorial i followed.

Cloth Roses
I haven't tried these roses yet but i find them very attractive. I might try something like this in future. Below is the tutorial image and link.

Paper Quilled Rangoli

Paper quilled Rangoli

Rangoli is a traditional Indian art form often associated with Diwali or any other special occasions. Purpose of rangoli is decoration. It has immense importance as it is supposed to bring good luck. A Rangoli is a brightly colored design created using different materials such as colored powders, seeds and grains, flower petals, pencils, pens and paint.
Here i have used paper quelling technique for rangoli. It is a permanent kind of rangoli. U can make small pieces and then arrange them in so many different ways. U can pack it in a small box and easily carry it around anywhere.
